I wish to extend condolences to your family. sorry we did get the chance to talk in our old age. but you must admit we did a lot of talking during our high school years. we gave them hell didn't we. happy to see you reached your goals with your art. i remember all the pranks we pulled in school and the cheese cake and coke at woolworths everyday after school. our newspaper the Goofball said it all. took me 20 years to paint the Big Head Dance, its hanging on my wall. When i look at it everday it reminds me of our youthful frendship, our laughter, our creative dare devil stunts. you are now among the greatist artist of all GREAT SPIRIT AND EARTH MOTHER happy journey. your friend Robert

Comments: Harry, Just sitting around the studio with you inspired new work. The last time we were there was when my boy was just 3 and he had the run of your studio. You were so easy going about it, when I would have tied him up and put him under the spare tire in the trunk or something. I made the pieces titled “Sacred Series” after we talked about curators and how they sometimes do wacky things with our work. Here’s to you Harry.

Comments: Harry, last weekend I was at the National Museum of the American Indian and saw your painting "Creation Story, 2001". It was a beautiful piece. When I first saw the piece, I mentioned to my wife that it looked like it was of Central American origin. Much to my surprise it was from Sacramento, CA. We have been long time residents of Sacramento, until recently. I took a few photos of the piece and posted one of them on our blog www.sacramentoexecutive.com Regards, Pierre

Comments: Hi Harry, its one of the girls from Bryte. Of all the memories we have shared my favorite is of the party you had in the basement at your parents house. That night I tried to steal your drawing of that sweet girl sitting on a hill holding a daisy, I stuffed it under my sweater and when you asked me what was under my sweater I just kept saying nothing like no one could see this square frame on my chest. But, the drawing was for someone else so I had to give back. I feel like I didn't really give it back because I just close my eyes and I see that sweet girl sitting on a hill holding that daisy and you that night of your party in the basement in your mom and dads house. See you soon, your friend Adeline de Bryte.

Comments: Hello Harry, The students and I enjoy your most wonderful website. What a delight to see the expressions and hear the exchange of complete wonder in their face and conversation with one another. Harry, many of the students didn’t have an interest in art because they felt as if they had no artistic talent. Knowing now that people such as yourself, who actually grew up nearby, and was able to accomplish one of your dreams, gives our students an increased level of self-confidence and self –esteem. Keep up your fantastic work and may you continue to be blessed. Genuinely & hugs, Mrs. Flores & the Student’s at Evergreen School West Sacramento, Ca.

Comments: Harry, I love your artwork. Hang in there and we are all thinking of you. A friend found hyperbaric oxygen therapy beneficial. Dr. Ken Stoller has a tank here and she rejected traditional therapies and sat in his chamber for 90 minutes a day for 3 months and has been cancer free for 2 years. This healing method is not supported by the insurance industry, but pure oxygen under pressue and diet change can boost your immune system so that it can take care of large problems. Keep me posted. Stay strong.

Comments: Hey there Harry, Sorry to hear news of your diagnosis. The trickster works in mysterious ways. It's been 15 years since I sold the Santa Fe Weaving Gallery. I've morphed into a dreamworker. I teach workshops in creative ways to access dreams through painting, collage and poetry. One of my favorite themes is envisioning all of the dream images as shapeshifting tricksters. I'll dedicate my 6/24/06 Trickster workshop to you!!! I'll be dreaming of you tap dancing your way into heaven!! Save a dance for me! love, victoria
